Hyungjun Park is a faculty member of Department of Industrial Engineering at Chosun University, Korea. He received a BS, an MS, and a PhD in Industrial Engineering from Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH), Korea, in 1991, 1993, and 1996, respectively. From March 1996 to February 2001, he worked as a senior researcher at Samsung Electronics, Korea. He involved in developing a CAD/CAM software VX Vision and an in-house software for modeling and manufacturing aspheric lenses used in various optical products. He joined Chosun University in March 2001. From July 2008 to February 2010, he spent his sabatical leave as a visiting scholar in the Computer Science Department of UCLA. His research interests include computer aided geometric design, virtual prototyping of engineered products, 3D shape reconstruction using reverse engineering, and CAD/CAM/CG applications.
